An 18th Century Delft Jar with a rounded, waisted, and banded rim, over the ovoid body, tapering to a circular foot, and slightly recessed underside. The jar titled ‘TABAC DE ST DOMAINGO’ within a beaded border, within a swagged and tassled surround, topped by spread ostrich feathers. The brass cover with an acorn finial, over the minaret body. Date circa 1770. Height 13 ½ inches, 34cm. Diameter 8 inches, 20cm.Ref: 23248
