An 18th Century Delft Jar with a rounded and outswept rim, over the ovoid body, tapering to a circular foot, and slightly recessed underside. The body decorated with an extravagant lattice and scroll reserve, the foliage topped by a vase filled with a profusion of flowers. The reserve titled ‘ST DOMINGO’. The brass cover of slightly domed shape, with a folded rim. Date circa 1750. Height 12 ½ inches, 32cm. Diameter 10 inches, 25cm.Ref: 23268
