An 18th Century Delft Vase. The vase with a raised octagonal reeded collar, above the octagonal reeded shoulders, sweeping inward and downward, in eight panels, to a reeded lower part, thence spreading to the reeded outward canted foot. Small restoration to one point on the foot rim. The shoulders painted with reserves of blooming flowers, above the panels, depicting an oriental garden filled with flowers, amongst which exotic birds perch, and above which insects flit. The lower body painted with flower filled reserves, as per the shoulders. Height 13 1/2 inches, width 9 inches, depth 9 inches. Date c 1730Ref: 21204
