An 18th Century Delft Vase. The vase with an outswept rim, decorated with overlapping chevrons, over a rounded knop, with flowers and leaves, between scrolling motifs. The tall neck with hanging leaves, spreading to an orb and waisted body, sweeping outward to the foot rim. The body decorated with scenes of people conversing in a garden, whilst others rest in the wooded garden. The foot finished with hanging leaves as per the neck. Date circa 1730. Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Width 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Depth 5 1/2 inches, 14cm.Ref: 23157
