An 18th Century English Delft Charger.
The broad inward sloping rim, surrounding a slightly dished centre. The rear with a small foot rim. The rim and centre painted with a continuous scene of ladies and gentlemen walking in open park land, near a river, upon which boats move. The background with clusters of houses, a church, and hills rising in the distance.
