18th Century Imari Shaving Bowl. The slightly concave rim surrounding the circular dished bowl, the lower circumference of the rim with a crescent recess for ones chin. The bowl decorated with alternating panels of flower heads to the rim, the central scene depicting a vase full of abundant flowers. The rear with a foot rim and the edge of the bowl decorated with trailing flowers. Date c 1770. Height 3 inches, diameter 10 1/4 inches.Ref: 20634
