A good 18th C Imari vase, the fluted and ovoid shaped vase decorated in blues and oranges with dense filled panels of flower heads alternating with further panels of palatial structures surrounded by trees and foliage, the shoulder area of the vase with alternating panels of flower head decoration below a bell shaped and fluted lid with repeated but smaller panels decorated similar to the body panels, the lid with scalloped edge and bulbous finial, and the whole vase with gilt highlights.

A good, early piece of Imari in great condition and with wonderful colour!
