18TH C POLYCHROME DELFT PLATE

An Early 18th Century Delft Polychrome Plate. The plate with a dished rim, the rim decorated with panels of ovals and ribbons, between a lattice and dot filled background. The centre of the plate with line banding, enclosing a scene of wild flowers, around which two insects fly. The rear of 'pancake' form. Date circa 1720. Height 1 inch, 2.5cm. Diameter 9 inches, 22.5cm.
