The 19th century Blue and White Meat Plate with a slightly dished broad rim, decorated with wild flowers, surrounding a centre filled with a scene of two herdsmen admiring an arcadian scene of classical sculpture in a ruined building, set in parkland, with an arched bridge, and river falling to a weir, with a cottage and church set amongst trees in the background. The rear of the Meat Plate with a comb back. Height, 2 inches 5cm Width, 19 inches 48cm Depth, 14 ½ inches 36cm Circa 1840
