A Good Mid 19th Century Ironstone Jug, the top following the shape of the  hexagonal body. The rim slightly waved and shaped, the body of flat sided hexagonal form, with a scrolled Hydra handle.
The whole jug with very good decoration of flowers, pagodas, and blossoms, in the Imari palette of reds, rusts, ochre, blue and with gilt highlighting.
The underside impressed 'Patent Ironstone China'.
