A 19th Century Imari Vase and Cover, the octagonal bell shaped cover topped by a Dog of Phoo, and spreading outward to a broad edge. The vase with a high collar above the octagonal baluster shaped body, tapering to a small foot rim. The vase decorated with reserves of scrolling flowers, interspersed with gilt flower, all surrounding a middle band of flowers, amongst which are seen butterflies and exotic birds.
