A 19th Century Ironstone Meat Plate by Ashworth Brothers. The plate with a sloping and slightly scalloped rim, decorated with spreading flowers, separated by reserves of oriental flowers, against a deep blue ground. The centre of the plate decorated with flowers emerging from a central scrolled and floral reserve. The scene enclosed by a lattice and segmented border. The whole vibrantly decorated, and finished with gilt highlighting. The rear impressed 'Warranted real Ironstone China' with mark for 'A Bros. Real Ironstone China', with crown and pattern number. Height 1 3/4 inches, width 15 3/4 inches, depth 12 1/2 inches. Date c 1850.
