A Large 19th Century Spode Meat Plate. The sloping octagonal rim decorated with flowers, fleur de lis, and scrolled draped leaves. The centre decorated with a scene known as ‘The Bridge of Lucano’. The scene depicting a herdsman and cattle, beside a lake, on which two swans swim. The Palladian arched gateway, through which two men pass, beside the arched bridge, with castellated towers beyond. The scene set amongst trees and flowers.
