A good 18th Century Delft apothecary jar, the tall neck with a rounded rim edge, tapering downward and outward to a rounded oval profile body, finished to the bottom with a small foot rim. The body with a painted reserve of scrolled edging, topped by a pair of peacocks flanking a basket of fruits. The reserve containing the title "A CAPRIFOLY." The lower edge of the reserve with a winged cherub mask, joining fruit and flower swags.
Height 11 1/2 inches; diameter 6 1/2 inches.
