A Delft Tobacco Jar. The jar with an outward rolled rim, above the ovoid shaped body tapering to a foot rim. The body with two rising leaf and berry swags, tied with a ribbon. The centre titled and dated 'TABAC DE PARIS 1801'. Date c 1801. Height 9 1/2 inches, 24cm. Width 8 1/2 inches, 21cm. Depth 8 1/2 inches, 21 cm.
