An Early 18th Century Delft Baluster. The hollow body in the form of a square baluster. The tall neck with a rounded banding, spreading to a second rounded banding, and then sweeping into a waisted socle, before the rounded and square plinth. The neck decorated with lattice reserves, from which rise scrolling leaves. The rounded banding with oval 'beaded' decoration, whilst the lower body is painted with rural scenes, amongst which sit towers and large houses. Date circa 1700. Height 14 inches, 36cm. Width 5 inches, 13cm. Depth 5 inches, 13cm.
