An Early 19th Century Tureen and Stand. 

The cover, of domed shape, topped with a rose finial handle, fitting over the tureen with a waisted collar, above the rounded body tapering to an outward spreading foot.  The body mounted to either end with lion head handles.  The stand of conforming shape, with a broad downward sloping rim, surrounding the flat centre over a raised foot rim.  The whole decorated with bands of flowers and leaves, with gilt lines and edging.

Date c 1810.

Height 8 inches, width 11 inches, depth 6 1/2 inches.
