A Large Early 19th Century Tin Glazed Faience Vegetable Tureen. The oval bolection profile cover with a handle in the form of an artichoke and carrots, finished with fluting to the four 'corners'. The conforming shaped body with the reverse bolection and fluted profile, mounted with two scrolled leaf encrusted handles, sweeping to scrolled toes, raising the tureen off the ground. The whole attractively painted with birds and butterflies, amongst flowers and shrubs.
