A Large 18th Century Apothecary Jar. The large polychrome jar, albarello, with an outward swept rim, above rounded shoulders and a concave body. The body rounding to the bottom, before a rounded foot rim. The jar decorated with blue and yellow banding surrounding a scrolled reserve, topped by a vase of fruits and flowers. The reserve titled 'SENAPE'. Height 11 1/2 inches, width 6 1/2 inches, depth 6 1/2 inches. Date c 1750.Ref: 21435
