A large 18th century Delft Apothecary Jar, or Jug. The rim with an outward and under sloped collar, above the straight sided neck. The rounded body tapering toward the ring bottom, and thence the spreading, downward sloping circular foot, with a recessed underside. The body mounted with a long spout, and shaped double band handle. The body painted with a flower, leaf, and berry reserve, gather in a ribbon bow at the bottom. In very good condition.
