A Large 18th Century Delft Polychrome Vase and Cover.  The bell shaped lid topped by a finial in the form of a bear, seated beside a basket.  The lid with a broad, sloped rim fitting above the collar of the body.  The tall body of baluster shape, decorated with panels of birds and insects flying amongst flowers, bushes, trees and blooms.  The scenes surrounded by borders of leaves and flowers.  The underside with the iron red mark for Pieter Kocx, De Grieksche A Factory 1700 - 1722.
