A Large 19th Century Imari Vase. The raised octagonal collar decorated with dragons flying amongst clouds. The shoulders decorated with reserves filled with young boys holding flowers, fans and attending flower filled planters. The shoulders flowing into the octagonal tapering body, decorated with reserves of figurative scenes depicting a lady served by pairs of young girls, presenting food and gifts, as a dog plays at their feet. The reserves set amongst a flower filled back ground. The vase finished to the bottom with a band of blue panels, above the foot rim, painted with scrolling decoration. Height 22 inches, width 17 inches, depth 17 inches. Date c 1870.Ref: 21384
