LARGE 19TH C MEAT PLATE

A large 19th Century blue and white meat plate, the dished rim decorated with melons, plums, and berries amongst exuberant flowers and leaves. The centre of the plate decorated with a scene of Ottomans rowing a boat ashore, with further boats sailing on the river. The bank of the river with a classical temple, set amongst date palms, whilst through an arch a loaded camel is led past a town.
