A Large 19th century Meat Plate, the rounded rectangular rim with scallop
edges, and a dished profile, the edge decorated with enclosed shells alternating
with stylised lilies. The body decorated with a scene of a large semi ruined
castle/abbey with a town scape and hills beyond. The foreground with a bridge
over a lake with cattle watering, and people in conversation, a cattle herder
and a man on horse back riding over the bridge.
The rear impressed ‘12’ & ‘8’
