A 19th Century Large Lustre Jug. The jug with a broad spout, and sweeping handle, joined by a raised collar rim, decorated with wild flowers and trailing leaves. The rounded body with a colourful scene of the west view of the iron bridge near Sunderland, with text information below. The opposing side with a sailors farewell, and suitable poem. The front with a sentimental sailors poem within a flower garland topped by a sailing ship. The jug by Scott of Southwick. Date c 1840. Height 9 1/2 inches, 24cm. Width 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Depth 8 1/2 inches, 22cm.
