A late 18th C Imari vase, the ovoid shaped vase with fluting and decorated in alternating panels of garden scenes with hanging and trailing foliage, other panels with dragons swooping down towards flowers, the shoulders decorated with alternating panels of large and small flower heads, the bell shaped lid also with fluting, similar decoration and an off-set fluted gourd shaped finial.

An old chip to the lid (as shown in photo), otherwise, a good early Imari vase.
