PAIR OF 18TH C DELFT COWS

A Pair of 18th Century Delft Cows.

Each cow, her head turned slightly, with ears raised, and a somewhat quizzical expression. Their tails sweeping forward over their flanks, as they stand on raised canted rectangular bases, the upper sides of the bases decorated in relief with trailing leaves. The underside of the bases 'hollow'. The floral painting of the base likewise decorating the cows.
