A Pair of 18th Century Savona Tin Glazed Apothecary Jars.

Each with an outward turned rim, above two rounded bodied elements gathered with a central band.  The bodies painted with leaves, flowers, and dash work, surrounding the central bands titled with the contents 'VNG ALTHE' and 'VNG AD SCABIE'.  The jars raised on a small circular foot.

Date c 1740.

Height 7 inches, diameter 4 3/4 inches.
