A Pair of 19th Century Imari Vases. Each vase with a raised rim, over the tall waisted necks, broadening into a baluster body, before the concave spreading foot. The undersides with double skinned bases. The necks decorated with panels filled with scrolling and rising flowers, interspersed with panels of exotic dogs. The bodies with scenes of wise old men tending to a young boy in a bamboo filled garden. Date circa 1850. Height 12 1/4 inches, 32cm. Diameter 6 1/2 inches, 17cm.Ref: 23370
