A Pair of 19th Century Imari Vases and Covers. Each with a blue finial topped cover, fitting within the tall necks of the vases. The necks spreading into the orb shaped bodies, raised on a small foot rim. The vases decorated with reserves within which exotic birds swoop to perch in trees. The reserves against a ground filled with flowers and leaves. Date circa 1850. Height 10 3/4 inches, 27cm. Diameter 6 inches, 15cm.Ref:
