Delftware/Ceramics >> PAIR OF 19TH C MEAT PLATES
A pair of 19th Century meat plates, each with a slightly dished rim decorated with flowers, leaves and berries. The centre of each plate decorated with scenes of fishermen drying their nets in a tree whilst a dog stands watching. In the background another boat fishes on the lake with a Palladian temple and a small village on the banks of the lake with hills beyond.
H 13 inches; w 16 3/4 inches.
