PAIR OF 19TH C MEDICI LIONS

A Pair of 19th Century Lions. The lions counter facing and of the Medici form, each standing and looking forward and slightly over his left quarter, as he holds an orb under his front left paw. The lions on stepped rectangular plinth. The whole, a good variegated treacle glaze. Date circa 1880. Height 11 inches, 28cm. Width 8 1/2 inches, 21.5cm. Depth 4 3/4 inches, 12cm.
