A Pair of 19th Century Vases. The blanc de chine porcelain vases with outswept rims, above fluted and leaf filled collars. The classical shaped bodies with fielded panels, surrounded by rising leaves, from which emerge pairs of leaf decorated scrolling handles. The vases with beaded and twisting flute socles, with laurel edges, resting on square re-entrant cornered ormolu plinths, decorated with stiff leaf edges. Date c 1840.
