A 19th Century Bisque Porcelain Figure of The Young Mercury. The god seated on a rock and wearing his winged helmet, as he ties up his winged sandals. Beside him on the ground lies his serpent entwined staff. The whole on an oval plinth. Signed to the plinth ‘PIGALLE’ and with a scrolled diamond with an ‘S’ in the centre. Quite a good scale. Height 20 inches Width 10 ½ inches Depth 10 ½ inches
