A Set of Three 19th Century Masons Ironstone Graduated Jugs. Each of octagonal shape, the scalloped rims, surrounding a broad spout, above the inward tapering neck, spreading to the chamfered body. the jugs each with a scrolled hydra handle. The jugs polychrome decorated in the Oriental style, with bands of flowers, above scenes of people conversing in a garden. The scenes against a flower and petal red back ground. The undersides marked for 'Masons Ironstone China' within a ribbon swag, with a crown top. Date c 1850. Height 7 inches, width 5 1/2 inches, depth 6 1/4 inches.Ref: 21269
