SET OF THREE 19TH C IMARI JARS & COVERS

A Large and Impressive Set of Three Imari Jars and Covers, each cover with bell shaped octagonal body and broad rims, topped with Dogs of Phoo. The bodies with tall necks, and octagonal baluster shaping. The whole well decorated with panels of flowers and birds within blue reserves to the covers, body, shoulders and bottoms. The broad part of the bodies with scenes of large flowers, garden houses, and smaller flowers. All the decoration in a very decorative and vibrant Imari palette with gilt highlighting.
