Two Early 19th Century Vases and Covers. Each cover with a flower bud finial, over the concave sweeping bodies with ring banding to the overhanging rims. The covers fitting within the rims of the vases, of classical form, sweeping to rising leaf cups over a ring socle, the concave bases spreading to a stepped rim, resting on square plinths. The vases mounted with mask handles. Date circa 1800. Height 12 1/4 inches, 31cm (larger vase and cover) Width 6 1/2 inches, 16cm. Depth 5 inches, 13cm.
