A Set of 19th Century Steel and Bronze Fire Tools. The bronze handles cast with flower finials, above hand grips decorated as vine leaves enclosing bunches of grapes. The handles finished with a ring and bead socle, above the shanks, topped with rounded cap, running to a bell shaped shovel, with raised edges, and a central floral motif. A Pair of tong nips with chamfered lozenge shaping, and a square tapering poker. Date c 1840. Length 29 inches.Ref: 20357
