A 19th Century Nursery Fire Guard. The guard with a brass rounded top rail, and a sliding brass bar for drying clothes. The Body in fine mesh, supported by steel columns. The bottom finished with a raised ash guard and base plate. Date c 1860. Height 27 inches, width 43 inches, depth 12 1/2 inches.Ref:
