A 19th Century Burnished Steel Fire Tool Stand or Stick Stand.

The centre column with a ring decorated finial, above ball and baluster turnings.  The two bowed arms finished with matching finials.  The base formed as an octagonal tray, with outward curved sides.  The whole standing on shaped bun feet.

Date c 1820.

Height 26 1/2 inches, width 101/2 inches, depth 9 inches.
