A Set of Fire Tools. The set of three early 19th Century Polished Steel Fire Tools, each with a button finial, spreading to an octagonal collar, and thence the baluster shaped grips, with ring and ball socles. The shanks with good ribbon twist shaping, running to a poker, rounded tongs, and a bell shaped shovel, with raised sides, and floral decoration. Date c 1820. Length 31 inches, width 5 3/4 inches, depth 2 1/2 inches.Ref:
