A Brass, Steel and Cast Iron Serpentine Fire Basket, Fire Grate.
The serpentine brass frieze, with pierced and engraved decoration of storks and snakes, amongst scrolled flowers and foliage.  The frieze sweeping forward to tapered front legs, engraved with hare bells, rosettes and fans and topped with classical vase finials. The bow fronted basket flanked by forward sweeping hare bell and rosette wings.  The cast iron fire back with hatched decoration.
