EARLY 19TH C STEEL FIRE TOOLS

A Set of Early 19th Century Burnished Steel fire Tools. The handles with ball finials, above facetted, tapered hand grips, finished to either end with ring collars. The shanks wrought in spiral twists, to a poker, pair of tongs with rounded nips, and a vase shaped shovel with raised sides, and a floral pierced centre. Date c1820. Length 28 inches.
