GEORGE III STEEL FENDER

A George III Steel Fender. The polished steel fender of rectangular shape, the top edge with a rounded rim, above a frieze decorated with open medallions, set with three bands of flower bud paterae. The fender resting on a concave plinth mould. Height 5 1/4 inches, width 51 inches depth 13 inches. Date c 1800.
