SET OF 19TH STEEL FIRE TOOLS

A Set of 19th Century Burnished Steel Fire Tools. Each with a rounded mushroom shaped handle, finished with a rounded collar, above the shanks, likewise finished with a rounded knopping. The shanks running to a pair of tongs, a poker and a rised edge shovel with lattice decoration. Height 26 1/2 inches, width 5 1/4 inches, depth 1 1/2 inches. Date c 1840.
