A Set of Early 19th Century Fire Tools. The set of fire tools in burnished steel and brass. The brass handles with a button and domed finial with a waved lattice banding, and rising spires, above the octagonal handle grips, decorated in vertical panels filled with intertwined lattice decoration, enclosing flower head. The shanks with good tight rope twist shanks, running to a poker, pair of heart shaped tongs, and a bell shaped shovel with raised sides. Date circa 1830. Height 31 1/2 inches, 80cm.
