A Set of George III Steel Fire Tools, comprising a poker, tongs, and shovel. Each burnished steel tool with an octagonal inverted baluster handle, topped with a ringed and button finial. The handles tapering to a waisted socle, and thence the long shanks. The tongs with circular nips, the poker with a tapering square end and the shovel with shaped raised edges, and a scrolling pierced centre. Date c 1780.
