A Set of Steel and Brass Fire Tools. The set of three brass fire tools, each with a brass handle. The brass handle with a flower bud pommel, above a shaped grip, decorated leaf and flower filled panels. The lower part of the handle with budding leaves, and rings, joining the steel shanks, running to a poker, pair of scrolled leaf tongs, and a shovel, of bell shape with acanthus decoration and raised edges. Date c 1840. Length 30 inches, width 6 inches, depth 1 1/4 inches.Ref: 21146
