SET OF STEEL FIRE TOOLS

A Set of Early 19th Century Steel Fire Tools. The burnished set, each with a facetted domed finial, above the octagonal handles, finished to either end with a ring collar. The shanks likewise with octagonal faceting running to a poker, pair of shaped pear tongs, and a bell shaped shovel with raised sides, and attractive flower and lattice pierced decoration. Date c 1820. Length 29 1/2 inches
