A late 18th century Walnut and Fruitwood Childs High Chair.


The back rest with a ring and tapered top rail, above a triple spindled panel, held within two horizontal circular rails.

The rear legs splayed outward and backward, for stability, and finished to the top with raised ring paterae.

The rush seat between circular ring and tapered arm rests, supported by the splayed front legs, which have ring and tapered decoration, as per the top rail.

The legs finished to the bottom with shaped toes, and the legs joined by double stretchers to each side. The front stretchers with ball and tapered turnings, the top stretcher rather appealing worn by feet.
